As you research setting up your own foundation, review some of these organizations that are leaders in corporate philanthropy best practices and research. We often rely on their expertise!

  • The Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship is a leading resource on corporate citizenship, working with global corporations to help them define, plan and operationalize their corporate citizenship.
  • Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy is the only international forum of business CEOs and chairpersons focused exclusively on corporate philanthropy. 
  • Councils on Foundation is a national nonprofit association of approximately 2,000 grantmaking foundations and corporations. As a leader in philanthropy, they strive to increase the effectiveness, stewardship and accountability of the sector while providing members with the services and support they need for success.
  • Entrepreneurs Foundation works with companies to develop, implement and enhance philanthropic, community involvement and corporate citizenship programs.
  • Points of Light Foundation provides research, analysis, tools and training to support the creation and management of volunteer programs.
