San Francisco, CA October & November 2007

In October and November, over 70 new Salesforce.com Employees made a significant impact in the San Francisco/San Mateo communities. Many of them came from a distance, where they will take back the excitement about volunteering to their own communities!

Volunteers spent:

• One afternoon giving special attention to children at Tenderloin Community Corps eating pizza and taking them Trick or Treating at the Hastings Law School Dormitory!
• Served over 679 meals in an afternoon to the homeless and under-resourced community at Glide Memorial
• Over 100 hours at the Shelter Network: The Vendome Hotel, Cleaning out garden beds and planted flowers and other ground cover, composted and cleaned away shrubs, organized brick blocks, and prepared kitchen and living space so that the residents at the Vendome Hotel can use their kitchen for the first time during Thanksgiving!

All these efforts contributed to making some one else's day a better one!
