11月2日スペシャルオリンピックスの「ウォーク＆ランフェスティバル　～アスリートと一緒に皇居を走ろう～」 が開催され、社員からカスタマーサクセスマネジメント部ディレクターの仲澤輝宏が前回のアイススケートの講師に引き続き2度目の参加を、5歳の娘さんと楽しみました。アスリートを中心にその家族とボランティアとが一体となって、親睦を深めるとともに、SO（Special Olympics）について広く認知・理解促進を図ることを目的に、"SOデー"という事業を実施しその一環の事業として、SO日本・東京では毎年、本企画を実施しています。当日はアスリートが約15名、駅伝チームが50チームほど、ボランティアも30人ほど参加し、仲澤は娘さんと共に、運営の手伝いを行いました。仲澤は「聖火イベントの手伝いや、くじ引きの手伝いをしたのですが、私が思っていた以上に娘がいろいろな手伝いをしてくれてとても頼もしかったです。また娘と参加できる活動があれば積極的に参加させていただきます。」また、仲澤の娘さんも「くじ引きの物を運ぶのが楽しかったです。」と楽しんでいる様子でした。

Participated in Special Olympics "Run & Walk Fesitval"

On 2nd November, “Walk & Run festival –lets jog around together with the athlete around the imperial palace” was held. From our employee Teruyuki Nakazawa,　Director Customer Success Management participate together with her 5 year old daughter. This was Nakazawa’s second time to participate at the Special Olympics program following his first participation as an ice skating teacher. The event is held annually to advocate the acts of Special Olympics and to develop closer relationship between the athletes, their family and the volunteers. More than 15 athletes, 50 teams of team marathon, and 30 volunteers participated in the event. Nakazawa commented “We helped run the day’s event by taking part in the torch operation and the charity lottery. It was both a surprise and encouraging to see that our daughter could contribute a lot more than I expected. I hope to participate in more volunteering especially if I can participate together with my daughter.” And her 5year old daughter also commented that “Helping take the drawing boxes was really fun!”
