Morges, Switzerland 22 May 2008
Arc-en-Ciel is the only one of its kind in Switzerland. It was founded 16 years ago and is to assist and to accompany children and their families which have been affected by HIV and the Aids virus and currently supports more than 40 children and 100 adults.
Scott Henderson (Sr. Director, FP&A and Business Process) tells us:
‘'The day
began with a presentation from Thao Nguyen the association Director.
After that we were served an unexpected but delicious three course lunch!
From there we got to work. The majority of our assistance was split
between prepping and painting a 75 Meter Iron Fence and cleaning and organizing
the garage which is used as a cloakroom that provides clothes to the children
and families that are supported by the association and the community.
It's been a
great day and the team had some fun while enjoying the sunshine!''
As the job wasn't completed, the team are planning to make another visit in the next few weeks to finish it!
The team included: Alexandre Girardet, Angela Marra, David Luthi,Deborah Pirelli, Emy Ungureanu, Florence Keller, Jose-Luiz Moura, Ronald Vaartjes, DelScott Henderson, DelStephane Ducret, DelTatjana Mauch, DelVeronique Piguet.
