22nd September 2008, Winchester UK A group of UK employees spent the day at Naomi House, a hospice for children with life limiting conditions. The hospice just had its annual open day and there was plenty of clearing up. Our team launched themselves at the task in hand and wowed the Naomi House team with their enthusiasm and commitment...
'Thank you so much for your email with everyone's feedback, I'm delighted everyone is so keen to get involved again. You couldn't have asked for a greater bunch of volunteers!! The whole group were such hard workers and really engaged by the support we provide at Naomi House and our plans for jacksplace@naomihouse so it was a real pleasure to have them helping us. My colleague Emma and I spent the morning with the group under Andy's instructions to get the house back in order before the families started arriving in the afternoon and everything, regardless of the task was completed fully. When we left in the afternoon Andy was busy finding extra work for the group to do as they'd completed much more than he'd hoped, so I'm not surprised everyone is aching!!!
Please see the message from Andy below who would have loved to say thank you in person!'.... '
What we do
Can you please pass on my thanks to the group, I was in a meeting when they left so was not able to thank them personally. There help was tremendous and the extra work done in the garden has made a real difference.'
We shall return.....thank you Ben Dhanjal, Tom Handley, Adam Savage, Nigel Armstrong, James Penfold, Simon Corley & Graham Rowe
