My volunteering experience in India involved educating kids who were physically challenged and came from less fortunate households. I taught English and Math for students in grades 1, 2 and 3. The biggest take away for me from this entire experience was what I learnt from my students - never to give up hope and to ALWAYS sport a smile. The warmth and friendliness they exuded was extremely gratifying. I hope to be able to apply that in my own life, making friends and sharing my smile wherever I go. In short, the experience was ethereal and one that will be close to me forever and I am thankful to Salesforce.com for having let me do this.
