Who needs the World Cup anyway! SFDC Dublin enters Street League's Corporate Penalty Shoot-Out in aid of the Homeless World Cup

Corporate Penalty Shootout

28 July 2006: Dublin

The competition was organised by Ireland's Issues 'Street Soccer' to raise funds for the Homeless World Cup in South Africa this September.

John O'Keeffe organised a Penalty Trial competition to establish our top penalty scorers, which led to Robert Ryder, Christian Mielke, John O'Keeffe, Turlough McGivney and Conor Dwyer getting through to our final team, with Ciaran Shanley along for moral support!

Each player took three penalties each and they scored a very reputable 7 out of 15 goals!

All funds go towards supporting the Homeless World Cup that takes place this September 2006 and has huge social impact and reward for all those who participate.

Thank you very much lads for the entertainment, but also for giving up your time to participate during such a busy time of the year for salesforce. Well done!
