Hampshire, UK: 4 December 2006 Seven warmly-clad volunteers from Salesforce.com's Frimley office spent a wet and windy day at children's hospice Naomi House, helping facilities manager Andy by clearing leaves, turning compost and putting up an enormous Christmas tree! UK Alliance's Team's Mark Ottaway suggested volunteering at Naomi House. He was joined by Julia Woodman, Graham Rowe, Mark Woodward, Simon Wheeldon, Karen Brewer and Isabel Kelly. Naomi House is a children's hospice doing wonderful work by providing a home-from-home environment for children and young people with life-limiting conditions that mean that they will not live to become adults. http://www.naomihouse.org.uk/ The volunteers enormously enjoyed their day; Mark Ottaway got to use his new leaf-clearer and Naomi House made them extremely welcome with fabulous banana and chocolate cake!
