BizAcademy San Francisco April 2007

March 30, 2007 - April 5, 2007
San Francisco, CA

Wow 5 days have gone by so fast! I guess spending my week in BizAcademy was not a waste of time after all. Throughout this week, 15 high school students decided to spend their spring break to work and learn about business. These high school students learned how to start their own company, cooperate with new friends, make investments, and how to sell a product.

These students from all over the city use a program called Salesforce to keep track of leads, campaigns, contacts, opportunities, and expenses. Without this on-demand application we would not have been as successful as we are now. This software as service (SaaS) kept us on the right track and organized. Also with the wonderful help from the staffs, mentors, and volunteers they helped us accomplish our goals and we were successful in selling out our products. They taught us knowledge that I never knew and information that we can never learn in school. Their knowledge gives us an advantage because now we are more prepared than other students when it gets to the business world. Because of BizAcademy now we are all more ahead in life and I want thank everybody for giving me an opportunity to be a part of this magnificent program, BizAcademy.

Special thanks to Julie Trell, Andrea Ronzani, Tatyana Kozachek, and Anna Phan for making it happen!
