Training Policy FAQ

Training FAQ - North America

  • I originally registered for class when it was offered for free to nonprofits. Do I have to pay now

No. You only have to pay the 50% fees if you want to confirm a seat in advance for the three reserved nonprofit seats. Otherwise you can continue to stay on the waitlist for a seat to open up, but priority nonprofit seating will go to those who take advantage of the 50% discount.

  • Someone I know got to go to class for free or for an 80% discount. Why do I have to pay more now?

The demand for North American classes has risen significantly. In order to accommodate the large numbers of nonprofits requesting training it is necessary to start to confirm seats for nonprofits in advance. The discounted price represents a fee needed in order to guarantee confirmed seats in advance as well as cover costs.

  • Can I choose between being put on the waitlist for a class at an 80% discount versus paying the 50% discount?

No. Only those who registered under the previous policy before Nov 11th 2008 are be eligible for the 80% discount. Nonprofits registering after Nov 11th may only register with the the 50% discount option.

  • How many people can I send to training on the 80% discount?

As many as you’d like. There is no limit.

  • Can I get the same discount on other training classes you offer?

Yes, the 50% discount applies to all classes offered by Education Services.
