Annual Events
A force for change

Almost every day, a salesforce.com volunteer is making a contribution somewhere in the world. To compound this impact, the Salesforce.com Foundation also organizes annual events, where our employees dedicate thousands of hours to community projects every year.

Dreamforce

At salesforce.com’s annual user conference, we host a day of service. Everybody’s invited—customers, employees, partners and members of the community alike. Our largest Dreamforce conference, held in San Francisco, brings more than 300 volunteers together every year for large-scale projects ranging from school renovations to playground builds to innovative green building projects.

Global Holiday Spirit Weeks

Whether it's sorting toys, feeding the homeless or ice skating with kids, every holiday season our employees celebrate the holiday season with giving. In 2009, over 1,250 salesforce.com employees joined with family and friends to contribute over 3,500 hours to spread holiday cheer. While salesforce.com employees volunteer year round, during the holiday months we connect more closely with our local and global nonprofit partners to focus our efforts around the needs of our communities.

Earth Month

How better to honor Earth Day than to turn it into Earth Month? Each year during the month of April, employees around the globe take action to support the environment through volunteering, Community Action Team grants and awareness campaigns with organizations working on everything from conservation to climate change.

In 2009, over 160 employees around the globe contributed to projects that included planting gardens, beautifying national parks, installing solar panels and environmental awareness educational efforts.
